Getting into the spirit of a 5 day Easter long weekend! This cute Easter Egg nail polish look is easy if you have a ridiculously large nail polish collection like I do. You can never have enough though it seems, I still had to double up on each hand because I didn't have baby green! I did my toes too but they're not so photogenic. They look so good I just want to gobble them up! Happy Easter!

L'Occitane
I've always loved L'Occitane hand cream but recently discovered their Almond Apple Velvet Concentrate face cream. I bought this in America because I liked the almond-apple scent and found it to be so much cheaper than Australia. I didn't get around to trying it till now and after 2 weeks of using it, I've noticed that my face feels alot softer and firmer all at the same time! So whether you're looking for some hand cream for your purse, face cream for your daily routine, or even some perfume or soap, I would really recommend L'Occitane. Here are some of my favourites:
Almond Apple Velvet Concentrate
This velvety and fondant-textured cream visibly beautifies the face and helps the skin to effectively protect itself against the 1st signs of aging. Immediately, skin’s texture is refined and softer to the touch, day after day, skin is firmer, smoother and effectively protected against the formation of wrinkles.
Rose 4 Reines Velvet Hand Cream
This cream, enriched in Shea Butter and vitamin E, repairs, nourished and protects hands from daily aggressions. The hands are moisturized and delicately perfumed with the fresh and slightly fruity fragrance of the Grasse rose, the Bulgarian rose, the Moroccan rose, and the Turkish rose.
Cherry Blossom Eau de Toilette
A fresh and floral fragrance that celebrates the beauty of the cherry blossoms during the first days of spring.

Love Chloe
I just got some new perfume for Christmas and I absolutely love it! I've been faithful to Chloe for ages now and I still love it but never thought that their follow up fragrance could become a favourite as well! Mmm...smells so good! Thanks to my cousins for getting it for me!

4 Days till Christmas!
Just a quick post to share some Christmas spirit with you all! I went to Carols in the Domain on Saturday for the first time in years and it was alot of fun. The weather was great - sunny with a nice breeze and we spent the day picnic-ing and playing cards and games. It was so crowded - as always - but it was very well organised and we even got cardboard floor seats for free and an awesome show bag for $15! I went with some friends and family and had a great time singing carols by candlelight:
I painted my nails Christmas themed last night and now they keep distracting me! They're pretty bling but I love them because they feel like Christmas decorations on my hand - check them out (it was so hard to take a photo of my hand without it looking freaky and weird!)
I also made some Christmas cookies today and they made the house smell all festive and yummy! I tried to make the stain glass window cookies (above) but my oven was took hot and the lollies burned so I decided to use cashous instead:
Crushed lollies look so pretty
They looked so good before they went into the oven and failed!
My second batch with cashous
I hope you guys are enjoying your Christmas week! I can't wait for all the yummy food (and presents!!) this weekend! Stay tuned for more festive posts to come!

OPI Spring/Summer 2010
The weather has been temperamental recently but when it manages to peep through, there's nothing like the feeling of Spring sunshine, blue sky and blooming flowers! I love changing my nail polish palette from dark and sombre blacks and navies to bright and vibrant blues and greens when the weather starts to warm up - especially on my toes which contrast perfectly with my favourite pair of brown Havaianas!
My brand of choice has always been OPI and I love reading their seasonal colour tips:

This coming Spring everything is short and green!
Nail shape for 2010 is squoval, not square and not oval – squoval.
Shrek Forever After
The 2010 “Colour of the Year” is a beautiful tropical turquoise.
The turquoise of spring and summer is complemented by violet, to add a sense of romance.
